At least 25 Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes across multiple areas of Gaza, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. The attacks took place despite an ongoing fragile ceasefire, raising tensions once again in the region.

Health officials confirmed that the strikes hit Zeitoun, Shejaiya, and Khan Younis, destroying several residential buildings. Many of the victims were women and children, as families were inside their homes when the airstrikes occurred.

Israeli Army Statement

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the airstrikes targeted “Hamas-linked sites” and were carried out in response to what they described as violations of the ceasefire by Hamas.
According to the IDF, Hamas was preparing attacks and using civilian areas for military purposes.

Doctors and local residents accuse Israel of striking civilian structures, arguing that the attacks directly violate the ceasefire agreement.
They called for urgent international intervention, warning that continued strikes would worsen Gaza’s already severe humanitarian crisis.
